Knaphill

Large self-contained village west of Woking with its own High Street and shops.

Knaphill is a large village to the west of Woking, often considered an outer suburb of the town. It sits on higher ground above the Basingstoke Canal and has its own High Street with a good range of shops, supermarkets, cafés, and services, making it one of the more self-contained neighbourhoods in the borough.

The village grew in the 19th century and retains a distinct community feel. It is close to Brookwood and the sweeping heathland of the area, and has good bus links into Woking town centre. Knaphill has several primary schools, recreation grounds, and community facilities.
