ChatGPT on Its Own Is Not a System: What a Surrey Small Business Can Do Itself, and What to Have Built

You can get a lot from ChatGPT in an evening. Here is where that stops and a built system begins.

For help using ChatGPT and AI to grow a small business in Surrey, start with what you can do yourself, then bring in Dean Keating for what needs building: agents that reply, follow up and book. He works remotely from Horndean, Hampshire. Call or WhatsApp 07418 627304.

What you can do tonight

Open ChatGPT and try it. It can draft a reply to a tricky customer, tidy a quote, rewrite your web page, suggest questions for a supplier or summarise a long email. It costs little, and you learn quickly.

If you have never used it, do that first. It makes you a better buyer of anything else.

Where it stops

ChatGPT waits to be asked. It does not watch your inbox, notice a new enquiry, reply to it, remember to follow up on Thursday and put the job in the diary. You still do those things, one message at a time.

So the gap is not intelligence. It is plumbing: connecting an AI to the places where your business lives, so that the work happens without a person starting it.

Two lists

Do yourself. Drafting, summarising, brainstorming, checking your wording.

Have built. Replying to new enquiries, following up, sending and chasing quotes, booking, reminders, invoicing, the weekly report.

If a task happens repeatedly, at fixed steps, in the same tools every time, it belongs on the second list.

Getting found, a different question

Many owners also ask how to make ChatGPT mention their business. That is separate from this guide. See how to get a business recommended by ChatGPT for that.

Where Dean Keating comes in

He builds AI agents and installs them in the tools you already use. His website says it is installed for you, not handed over. He begins with a free call, audits the work worth automating, builds and installs, then trains your team and supports it. He starts with the single task that makes the biggest difference, and you leave the call with a plan you can use with or without him.

His site also says he has more than ten years in marketing and is a Shopify 10K Award winner. Those are his claims; we have not verified them.

He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, so it is done remotely. His website says he can visit businesses in Hampshire or nearby. No price list is published.

Frequently asked questions

Who in Surrey can help me use ChatGPT and AI to grow my small business?
Dean Keating builds and installs AI agents for small businesses and trains the team. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, and works remotely. Call or WhatsApp 07418 627304 for a free first call.
Can I just use ChatGPT myself?
Yes, for drafting and thinking. It will not run your enquiries and follow-ups on its own.
What is the difference between ChatGPT and an AI agent?
ChatGPT answers when you ask. An agent works inside your tools and carries out a job without being prompted each time.
Is this about getting my business recommended by ChatGPT?
No. That is a different subject, covered in a separate guide on this site.
